Event Date: June 7th – 12th 2016

Venue: Mall of Asia Arena, Philippines

Entrusted with massive responsibility for one of the biggest showcases in esports, Bombee delivered full stage design and technical production for the Manila Major, the third tournament in Valve’s prestigious Dota Major Championship series. Organized by PGL esports, sixteen of the best Dota 2 teams from around the world came to compete for a $3 million USD prize pool.

Providing full 360-production support for an arena venue, in a location Bombee has never worked in, we needed to ensure that the production quality would meet the high standards of Valve and the esports community. Navigating local regulations, tight schedules, and communication barriers, these complexities required a major need for adaptability, thorough management of local labor, and diligent attention-to-detail for technical precision. Seamlessly combining the aesthetics of Dota 2 with the grandeur of a major sporting event, Bombee was able to transform the arena to create a captivating visual experience for both audience members and viewers worldwide.

Through innovative solutions, comprehensive technical expertise, and rigorous problem solving, Bombee created remarkable outcomes for this high-stakes competition. Our ability to overcome challenges and deliver an unforgettable experience, showcased our commitment to pushing the boundaries of these productions and set new benchmarks for future esports tournaments.
